Audi’s latest T.V. commercial, a collaboration with A.S.A.P. Production, presenting the new Audi Q8 e-tron Dakar Edition, was filmed in Marrakech and the Merzouga desert. This project is a testament to the power of collaboration, showcasing the car’s adventurous spirit amongst the endless dunes.
The challenge: To capture the essence of the Dakar Rally, the world’s most challenging desert race, and translate it into a visually stunning advertisement for the Audi Q8 e-tron Dakar Edition.This involved finding the perfect locations, managing complex logistics, and ensuring flawless production in a challenging environment.
Our team scouted locations in Marrakech and Merzouga to find the perfect balance between urban sophistication and desert beauty. The selected locales became integral to the narrative, enhancing the visual appeal of the commercial.
Coordinating a project of this scale required careful planning. From obtaining filming permits and scheduling shoots to managing logistics, our production team ensured that everything went smoothly, allowing the creative team to focus on filming the Audi Q8 E-TRON Dakar Edition.
