Audi - Dakar rally Morocco
Audi Team Sport pushes the boundaries of innovation in its recent test for the Audi RS Q e-tron. The team faced a rigorous test on the challenging terrain of Morocco during an extensive pre-rally test in September 2023, where the six drivers and co-drivers, including Mattias Ekström/Emil Bergkvist, Stéphane Peterhansel/Edouard Boulanger, and Carlos Sainz/Lucas Cruz, faced the demanding conditions of the Merzouga terrain.
As production partners for this project, our mission was to showcase the Team Audi Sport as they prepped for the 2024 Dakar Rally with their revolutionary Audi RS Q e-tron E2. From scouting the perfect sun-drenched dunes to managing the intricate logistics of filming in Merzouga desert.
We scouted several locations in Marrakech that fit the film’s romantic screenplay and aesthetic requirements.
We identified a riad in the medina that was perfect for the scenes. We secured the film permit in Morocco and liaised with local authorities. Our team also arranged for transportation and accommodations for the cast and crew.
